There are three ways to be a part of our services during this time of social distancing: live via Zoom on Saturday evening at 5 pm, streaming live on Facebook Saturday evening at 5 pm, or recorded on Sunday mornings on either Facebook or Youtube. Each of these offers differnt kinds of communicaiton. Zoom will let you participate in our worship. You can see everyone in the group, you can talk and contribute directly. Streaming live on Facebook will have some interactivity. You will be able to see everyone on Zoom, but we won’t see you. You can hear everything on Zoom, but you can’t directly talk to the group. You will have a text message area, and we will monitor the comments stream and try to integrate that into our worship. Think of the Facebook stream like watching a live event on the Internet. Viewing a recording will be like watching any other video from your computer, tablet or phone. Come Join us as we worship our Lord!
Setting Up Zoom
You can join the live worship gathering at 5 pm on Saturday from an Android or iOS smartphone or tablet, from a Mac or Windows desktop (using Chrome, Firefox or Safari browsers) or by simply calling in. Our preference is for you to set up Zoom and be a part of our live worship conversation.
Android / iOS Phone or Tablet
From your smart device, go to your app store and download the Zoom software. Once you have downloaded it, launch it and use 3138966441 as the meeting code. You will connect to our worship stream. The stream will be live at 4:30.To test your setup, try going to 3138966441 any time, the conference room is normally available during office hours.
Windows 10 or Mac Desktops
It is important to be using a modern browser from a desktop computer, Google’s Chrome, Mozilla’s Firefox or Apple’s Safari all are fine for this. Use the link below to download the client and launch it:
A separate software application will load, you may need to give permission for the Zoom client to access your webcam and audio system. You are joining a meeting, use the id 3138966441. If you’ve never done video conferencing before, it would be best to test the setup by going to the conference room (3138966441) any time during office hours. Dial In
You can join from any phone by using Zoom like a conference call. From any phone, simply call 669-900-6833 (note that the call is long distance). You will need a meeting ID: 3138966441.
Live Worship on Facebook
You can watch worship live on Facebook Simply go to Facebook (www.facebook.com/pg/SPCTaylor/videos) and look for the video marked Live in red lettering. If you use an app to view Facebook, go to the church page from within that app and you should receive a notice that a live event is taking place. Join us.
